Water control switch

As a necessary safety measure for cooling water systems running without supervision we recomend the water control switch.

Function:

Immediate switching-off of the power supply and an audible signal if the required cooling water rate is no longer available.

Cut off of the cooling water supply by a solenoid valve in case of a water leakage.

Optical supervision with the flow monitor with control valve.

Three examples for a needed interruption of the power supply:

a) Cooling water is not turned on
b) Cooling system interrupted due to a hose coming off
c) Significant pressure drop

Handling:
The sensor unit is attached to the end of the cooling system. The inlet of the sensor unit is the green GL 14 screwed union and the outlet is the widened SVL 15. After the cooling water system is turned on the sensor is manually bridged-over by pressing a button on the control unit. This will open the solenoid valve and allows the cooling water to flow and cover the sensor. From now on the water flow is supervised by the sensor.
